One form for a scan or a quote, answered by a person

The quote form is the way in for both asks: a drone moisture scan of a commercial low-slope roof, or a price on materials for a job. A person reads every request and replies by email within one business day. We answer Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm Eastern. For anything else, write to the support address at the top and foot of every page.

Restore or replace: ask for the scan first

The scan's map shows whether the roof needs a coating with a few sections replaced first, or whether so much of it is wet that replacing it makes more sense, before you budget for either. On an evening after a sunny day, a drone with a thermal camera flies the roof; wet insulation holds the day's heat longer than dry insulation, so it shows warmer. The button below opens the form with the request already in the notes: add the building's address.

  • The owner gets a map with every area that looks wet outlined and measured in square feet.
  • It comes with video from the flight and a written assessment of what the scan found.
  • The scan marks suspects; the cores confirm them. The assessment is a screening read, not a diagnosis.
  • It needs a sunny day followed by a clear, dry, calm evening, so the weather sets the night it flies.
  • Not for ballasted or heavy-gravel, metal panel, white-coated or closed-cell foam roofs; those are surveyed another way.
  • We fly only with the owner's written go-ahead, and nothing has to be decided until the owner has seen the map.

Buying material for a job

Pricing a job: send part numbers or just the roof

If you know what you need, list the part numbers and quantities. If you do not, describe the roof, and a person counts the material for it, coat by coat. The more of the roof you describe, the closer the first reply is to the final number. The order is placed when you confirm the quote.

  • The reply is a written price with freight to the site and a ship date, and it names what is not included.
  • Genuine Sherwin-Williams Uniflex, sealed, by the pail, the 55-gallon drum and the 275-gallon tote.
  • Stocked items ship in 1–3 business days. Items ordered in take 1–2 weeks; the quote says which is which.
  • Not sure of the system? Describe the roof and we name the build-up for its type, by part number.
  • No list prices: every order is quoted for your quantities and your site, a single pail included.

Filling in the form

What to send for each ask

The form asks for your name, email, role, a roof area, a state and a ZIP code, and has room for notes. Anything below without a box of its own goes in the notes.

Scan: the building The scan buttons on this page start the notes for you: finish the line with the building's address. Its state and ZIP code go in the ship-to boxes.
Scan: the roof Its area in square feet; an estimate is fine. In the notes, the roof type if you know it (single-ply, modified bitumen, built-up, metal) and any gravel or white coating.
Scan: the go-ahead Choose your role. If you are not the owner, say in the notes that the owner has agreed; we fly only with the owner's written go-ahead.
Materials: what you need Part numbers, quantities and pack sizes, listed in the notes (the product box takes only one). No list yet? Give the roof type, its condition and the square footage.
Materials: roof area The form requires it. Give the area the material is for; an estimate is fine.
Materials: where and when The delivery site's state and ZIP code in the ship-to boxes, and in the notes, the week you need the material on site.
Materials: access In the notes: how a freight delivery gets in: a loading dock, a forklift on site, or a lift-gate truck where there is no dock.
Photos, plans, specifications The form takes text only, up to 2,000 characters of notes. If you have photos, a roof plan or a specification, describe them in the notes, and a person replies.
Joining the installer network For roofing and coating contractors who apply these systems: choose the roofing contractor role and give your company name and the states you cover in the notes.

What happens after you send it

Common questions about reaching us

How soon does a person reply?
Within one business day, by email. We answer Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm Eastern, so a request sent in the evening or on a weekend is answered on the next business day. Every request is read and answered by a person.
What does a moisture scan cost?
We quote the scan for your roof when you ask; it depends on the roof's size and where the building is. That is why the request asks for the building's address and the roof area. Nothing is booked until the owner gives the go-ahead in writing.
Can someone other than the owner ask for a scan?
Yes. A facility or property manager, or a roofing contractor bidding the roof, can ask on the owner's behalf. We fly only with the owner's written go-ahead, and the owner gets the map, video from the flight and the written assessment.
Can you introduce me to an installer?
Yes. We work with a network of installers, roofing contractors who apply these systems, and can introduce you to one anywhere in the US, who looks at the roof and says whether it is a good candidate for restoration. Ask through the quote form and say so in the notes, with the roof type and the building's state. We never do the roofing work ourselves.
Can my company join your installer network?
If you are a roofing or coating contractor who applies these systems, yes, you can ask. Send the request through the quote form with your company name and the states you cover, and a person answers. Joining our network is not Sherwin-Williams' authorized-contractor program, which the manufacturer runs itself.
Can I ask a product question without asking for a quote?
Yes. Email us at the address at the foot of every page with the part number or the product page you are looking at, and the roof you are working on. A person answers what a product is, what goes with it and how to order it.
Where do questions about an order or a delivery go?
Reply to your order confirmation, or email us with the order number; the address is at the foot of every page. A person handles every order, delivery and damage question. For damage in transit, the returns and claims page sets out how to report it.

Ask for a scan, or ask for a price

Both go through the same form. Add the building's address for a scan, or the part numbers or the roof for a price, and a person replies within one business day.
