Elastomeric & silicone finish coats
KST04130T Uniflex Premium Acrylic Elastomeric Roof Coating, Adobe Light Tan
- Premium acrylic finish coat
- Sold by the pail
The premium acrylic elastomeric finish coat in adobe light tan, a catalog color rather than a tint. Same 100% acrylic chemistry and substrate list as the white, in 5-gallon pails and 55-gallon drums, for roofs an owner or an HOA wants in a warm neutral.
Key benefits
- Adobe light tan straight from the pail, a catalog color that needs no colorant added to it
- Premium grade 100% acrylic elastomeric, water-based, with the same substrate list as the white premium acrylic
- Stocked in 5-gallon pails, with 55-gallon drums quoted with the order
- Listed for use with reinforcing fabric or seam tape, so seams, flashings and penetrations stay inside the same system
- Sedona tan is the second tan in the range if the building wants a deeper warm color

Overview
KST04130T is the premium acrylic elastomeric finish coat in adobe light tan. It is a catalog color, supplied ready in the pail, so nothing has to be added to it on the way to the job. Chemistry and grade are the white’s: 100% acrylic elastomeric, water-based, listed by the manufacturer over metal, polyurethane foam, concrete, smooth built-up, modified bitumen, granular cap sheets, EPDM and Hypalon, and listed for use with fabric or seam tape.
A warm neutral gets asked for when the roof is visible. Low-slope sections on housing, terraces overlooked from an upper floor, roofs in a community with a color standard: on those jobs white is the wrong answer and a matched tint is more machinery than the job needs. The deeper warm color in the range is KST41300T, sedona tan. Rates, film build, recoat and cure all come from the manufacturer’s product data sheet.
Application
- Start on a roof that is clean, dry and sound. Wash the field, clear ponded silt and loose granules, and let it dry as the data sheet requires.
- Repair first, then reinforce the details before the field: splits, blisters, open laps, flashings, penetrations and fastener rows.
- Prime by substrate. Metal, concrete, single ply and asphaltic surfaces each take their own first step off the data sheet.
- Base coat, then finish coat, with a contrasting base color so each pass is visible while it is going on.
- Apply at the rate, film build and coat count the manufacturer’s product data sheet states, in the conditions it allows.
Ordering
KST04130T comes in 5-gallon pails and 55-gallon drums. Stocked pack sizes ship in 1 to 3 business days; anything not on the shelf is ordered in and runs 1 to 2 weeks. Drums, pallet quantities and freight go through the quote form, and every price is quoted per project rather than printed here. Send the part numbers, the quantities, the site ZIP code and your dates, and the price comes back with freight and a ship date.
Where it's used
-
Visible low-slope roofs
Roofs that are seen from above or from an adjacent building, where a plain white field would read wrong against the walls and the parapets.
-
Residential and HOA work
Low-slope and flat sections on housing, townhomes and small multifamily buildings, where the color is set by a community standard rather than by a specifier.
-
Metal roofs
Panel and standing-seam roofs, once the fasteners are dealt with, the metal has taken its primer and the ribs and fastener rows have been detailed.
-
Smooth BUR, modified bitumen and cap sheets
Sound asphaltic roofs, over the elastomeric MB base coat those surfaces take first so the asphalt does not read through the finish.
-
Foam, concrete and aged single ply
SPF roofs at their recoat interval, cured concrete decks over the concrete primer, and weathered EPDM or Hypalon over the single-ply base coat, with the wash primer first on EPDM only.

Questions
- Is adobe light tan the same as sedona tan?
- No. They are two different catalog colors of the same premium acrylic elastomeric coating. Adobe light tan is KST04130T and sedona tan is KST41300T. Both come in 5-gallon pails and 55-gallon drums.
- Can I get a color that is not on the list?
- That is what the tint bases are for. Accent, deep and pastel bases are separate part numbers and are tinted with the manufacturer colorant system for a matched or shaded roof. Ask on the quote how tinting is handled for your order.
- Does the tan need a different base coat from the white?
- No. The base coat is chosen by substrate, not by finish color: the gray premium acrylic on metal, concrete and foam, the elastomeric MB base coat on asphaltic roofs, the single-ply base coat on weathered EPDM (after the wash primer), TPO and Hypalon (after a pressure wash).
- How many pails will my roof take?
- The manufacturer's product data sheet states the coverage rate and the film build per coat and per substrate. Send the square footage, the roof type and its condition and the quote works the material out for that roof.
- Can it ship in cold weather?
- It is a water-based coating and must not freeze in transit or in storage. Give us the destination and the dates and the quote states the ship window, so material is not left standing on a cold dock.
